1.2 Trip & Vehicle Information

  • Driver Data: Vehicle make, model, license plate number, color, and insurance details.
  • Trip Details: Origin, destination, route stops, date, time, and price per seat.

1.3 Location Data (Critical)

We collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device to enable ride tracking, route matching, and safety features.

  • Drivers: We collect location data when the app is running in the foreground (app open) or background (during a trip) to verify the route.
  • Passengers: We collect location data to suggest nearby pickup points.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for specific purposes:

  • Service Provision: To create your account, match drivers with passengers, and facilitate ride bookings.
  • Safety & Trust: To verify identities, screen drivers, monitor rides for safety deviations, and maintain community standards.
  • Communication: To send booking confirmations, ride updates (via SMS/Push Notification), support messages, and security alerts.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with local transportation laws, tax regulations, and law enforcement requests.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We strictly limit how your data is shared:

3.1 With Other Users

When you book or offer a ride, certain information is shared with the other party:

  • Passengers see: Driver's name, photo, vehicle details, rating, and live location during the trip.
  • Drivers see: Passenger's name, photo, rating, and pickup/drop-off location.

3.2 With Service Providers

We engage trusted third parties to perform functions such as:

  • Payment Processing: (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) to process Card payments securely. We do not store full card details.
  • Map Services: (e.g., Google Maps) for navigation and route optimization.
  • Verification Services: To validate ID documents securely.

4. Your Rights & Control

You have control over your data. Depending on your region, you have the right to:

  • Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent for data processing at any time by contacting support, though this may limit your ability to use the Service.
  • Delete Account: Request account deletion via the app settings ("Right to be Forgotten"). Note: We may retain certain data for legal reporting or fraud prevention purposes as required by law.
